In Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo prefecture. the state of emergency is declared as virus surges.
Tougher restrictions, such as banning restaurants and bars from serving alcohol, asking department stores and movie theaters to close temporarily, and barring fans at sports games, will be in place from Sunday through May 11.
However, Hair dressers are allowed to open even during the state of emergency, so we will open with the thorough precautionary measures guided by Tokyo government.
As a part of the precautionary measures, some of us take the COVID-19 Antigen test very frequently.
PCR test detects RNA (or genetic material) that is specific to the virus and can detect the virus within days of infection, even those who have no symptoms. Turnaround time is longer, generally in the 2-3 day range but results can be in as little as 24 hours. When demand is high, results can take a week or longer.
Antigen test detects protein fragments specific to the Coronavirus. Turnaround time for results is usually very quick and in some cases, results can be reported within 15 minutes. That is the benefit of taking the antigen test.

本日より東京も緊急事態宣言が発出され、商業施設、お酒やカラオケ設備を提供する「遊興施設」には、法律に基づいて休業要請を行うそうです。

しかし、美容室は休業要請をされてないので、感染対策に万全を期して営業しております。
その感染対策の一環として、抗原検査をスタッフが行い、現時点で感染していないことを確認し日々営業しております。
新型コロナウイルスに対する抗原検査はこの5月に正式に厚生労働省から保険認可されました。
PCR検査がRNAを増幅して検出するのに対し、抗原検査は新型コロナウイルスに対する抗体を用いて抗原を見つける検査です（抗体と言うものは、抗原に接すると抗原抗体反応で強力にくっつくのです）。
